Future Women's Centers Sites
WCI regularly communicates with a number of community-based organizations that have requested assistance developing a women's center in their communities. They speak of the enormous burdens poverty has placed on women, and their commitment to help remove those burdens through education and training.
WCI's goal is to make site visits, develop partnership agreements, and then provide financial, administrative, and program support to each new Center for a period of three to four years. During that time, the Center staff prepares for transition to sustainable self-management.
WCI the implementation of the detailed plan for this expanded engagement requires substantial financial support.
